Hurley Factory Shop
The Hurley brand has seen many changes over its lifetime stemming from its roots as a surfboard company. Founder, Bob Hurley decided to expand his surfboard business into a surf wear brand in the late 70’s and proceeded to buy the United States license for the well known Australian Billabong brand.
He later dropped the license and started the current incarnation of Hurley in 1998 later selling up to the Nike brand in 2002. The brand’s design direction was revolutionary for the time, making surf wear fashionable again and connecting superstars to their products.
